Hi
I have not blogged in a while so I will chat a little while.
I had some what healthy foods the last two days. I had baked turkey
for supper last night with a sweet potatoe. Minimal margarine
on the sweet potatoe and skim milk. The same for lunch today.
Spaghetti with multi grain pasta and a little italian well cooked for supper tonight.
My portions were smaller than normal to try to get the belt a little tighter
which is the goal.
I ran and walked five miles tonight. My legs are starting to come around
as I complained a lot earlier. The weekend was full of run and walking and still the sore legs. I will find out next Wednesday my overall condition because I will run a 5k
race to see my overall condition. Till later,

Hello
I am back from a my vacation. I am going to stick to the plan I set to do to get my weight and diet back on track. I do not cook myself so My girl friend is going to start cooking more regularly. She bought lots of veggies, some lean meat, and lots of fat free yogurts. We will see how it goes.
I put 30 minutes of run and walk in tonight. It is a regular thing that if you miss a week it it like starting over again. Tomorrow it is suppose to rain most of the day so after work looks like a indoor swim day.

Hi
Things are starting to pick up with myself.
I had good exercise three out of the last four days.
My legs are coming around slowly. I need to keep stretching.
My diet now is trying for less fats more vegetables.I am taking a four day vacation this weekend. When I arrive back home I am going to start trying to lose some weight.
I start to double my dose of Niaspan tomorrow. Now it will be 1000mg
per day at night. That is about it for now.

hi to all
Yesterday was a good day as far as exercise goes. I ran and walked ten miles. I went for a massage afterward to help stretch out an old hamstring strain from years past. My legs still have trouble warming up and I have started to make stretching a daily thing to make my exercise more enjoyable. My diet is yet another story. I have not lost any weight since starting on my heart health program. I wrote this to my viewers in an earlier blog. The only person who can make changes is you or in my case ME. I will be the first to report when my weight is getting lower.
Today is football day so I call it an off day for exercise. I took care of some chores around my house so it was not a loss of a day. Till tomorrow. Dave

Hello everyone
Hope your labor day weekend was safe.
I will start out with my last few days activity.
I did some swimming yesterday and felt pretty good afterward.
Today, I went biking with a friend and biked 17 miles. We have not biked in three weeks and we were out of time so we were happy with that.
We then ran an easy (very easy) three miles with some walking in there.
Then I went and ran another three with some faster older guys. One is 70 years old and the other is 55 years old. I look up to these guys who were on a cool down run. I stayed with then for 2.5 of the three miles.
My hamstring muscle was getting sore so I had to walk most of the last half mile. I will be a little sore tomorrow but it is a good soreness!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been taking the supplements Dr. Davis recommended for over three weeks now and I can report that I have no stomach or side effects at all which is good. I do spread out the omega 3 and the vitamin D between two meals during the early day(9am and 12:30) That is my meal schedule at work. That is about it for now.
