Hi everyone
The last two days I was able to get some exercise in.
Yesterday, I walked/ran a total of 6 miles. Sounds good right?
Today, I swam 1400 yards total in about an hour. I felt lean and upper
body strong afterward.
Now the rest of the story, After yesterdays run I went out for Wednesday
night taco's night. They were great, tasteing and took a while to finish but
too much fat. The three pichers of beer were good also.
Today after my swim, A few cold ones and greasy food again.
The point being, Improving my HEART in particular is the goal of my blogging. You can do what ever you want and the sky is the limit but you
have to make some effort to make some changes.
The (great) Dr. Davis is a nice caring person, not just the cardioligist that is showing myself and my readers of this column the easiest way to improve our Hearts.
With that said, no one likes to listen to someone preaching but no matter what shape you are in, just start with baby steps to improve your health.
Any form of exercise, being it walking a block and you never did it before, that is a start. My personal thing is I can eat all day long and I face the battle all the time if you can believe it. If I exercise you dont want to eat as much. That is the reason people like me do it.
Till next time

Todays login is a nice one. Short and sweet. Work went well.
Tonights swimming went well. Went home and had a salad and a sweet potatoe for supper. I hurried up and showered quick before Monday night football. I only have one thing not going so well. My team is getting
beat. I will not stay up for the full game because the outcome will not be good.
I will get a goods night sleep tonight and prepare for work tomorrow and rest for a run/walk tomorrow to get those sore legs worked out.
Till later, Dave

Thursday:Swim if schudule permits
Friday: recover and spend time with family
Saturday: After a good nights sleep, some kind of a Run/walk
Sunday: Time for yourself and other commitments

With that said, I have been struggling with sore legs lately. I still have not figured it out completely. I hope it is just slacking lately with my program.
I am not the most motivated person but with the weather both
hot humid and raining you want to be lazy and that is normal.
I have been into the health craze for 10 years but my weakness is my diet. I have a very large intake of food and beverages. But my readers, this is what we are. The population loves to over indulge without thinking of the overall picture of optimal health. With that as the end of today's blog I will sign off. In future blogs, I will try to keep you off the couch and get you into the exercise mode. Once you get it you will never Quit.

apprentice Dave daily login for a healthy heart.
No workout again cause of the weather. I have a plan for
a long training run tomorrow. I will list my workout schedule in tomorrows blog.
I have listed my heart health supplements I am taking for building and maintaining my heart.
I recently started taking 6000 mg of Omega-3
2000 IU of Vitamin-D
500 MG. of Niaspan(niacin) prescription form
1 gram testosterone 50 twice daily in creme form(pescription form)
I recently had blood work done and have guidlines to use as a base line.

After 60 days, Dr. Davis has requested a second blood work test to
see if improvements have been accomplished. That is it for today.
I will start explaining how I keep myself motivated and away from a
sedatary lifestyle tomorrow.
Thanks again to anyone who views my blog and likes it.

Today's blog on apprentice-dave
I had planned on bicycling today but rain most of the day changed my plans. I would of enjoyed it but I am easy to skip a scheduled workout
so I can do whatever.
I will show my schedule of my exercise program in future writings but
now I am just getting used to a daily login. Who ever reads and follows my daily writings will find me fun and humorous at the same time. bottom line, no exercise today just eat, drink and be sedantary for the day. I call it attitude adjustment and you are allowed that now and then.
Tomorrow will be back on track, and in future writings will go more into my diet and progress. Till tomorrow,
Thanks for viewing.
